Anna and John's Wedding

31 July 2013Well we have appeared in a blog!!! Its for a Cambridge based wedding photographer who recently took the photo's for Anna and John's wedding! We loved being involved in Anna's wedding and we created some stunningly beautiful arrangements which truely complimented Childerley Hall. Work experience!!

11 July 2012Over the last few weeks we have had work experience girls from two local schools!! It is always a pleasure to have them and to give them an insight into the world of floristy! We had Briony from Hinchingbrooke who showed a great interest and was very keen to get stuck in! By the end of her first week she had mastered buttonholes or hair flowers as she preferred to wear them in her hair! She also created an arrangement that she took home to her mum!! 27 June 2012Flower Bar are loving the peony at the moment! Its such a short season so we would say to you buy them while you can! Our long time favourite variety is the good old Sarah Bernhardt (a beautiful pale pink double peony) it smells fantasic and looks stunning in wedding work or just simply in a jug at home. Re-cut the stems and change the water regularly and they will both look and smell amazing for 7-10 days. Read More
